Do Flies Go To Heaven

One day Brent saw a fly in his mom’s apartment. Brent got really upset at seeing the insect flying around the room but didn’t really know what to do about it. His mom told him to get the fly-swatter and kill it. Brent did as he was told, then looked down in disbelief at what he had done. He stood there and stared for a while, looked up with tears in his eyes and asked, “Since I killed that fly, will I still go to heaven?” His mom said, yes. Brent asked, "Will the fly go to heaven?” His mom told him yes, but my grandmother said she hoped not. After all, heaven wouldn’t be very nice with a bunch of flies flying all around.
