Brent’s best friend Jacob and his brother came over to play with Brent one day. Jacob has Asperger’s Syndrome as well and his mannerisms are very similar to Brent’s. Brent was telling Jacob about the time Jordan (Another kid with AS) came over to stay the night at our house.
He said, ”Jordan doesn’t have a TV and when he stayed with us, he only wanted to watch TV the whole time and wouldn’t play outside.”
Jacob had been learning about idioms with the speech therapist at school. He said, “He sounds like a potato on the couch…That’s what’s called an idiom.”
